We recognize that many of our partners might be dealing with the current COVID-19 crisis and flooding simultaneously. To help you be prepared, IFIS has a new map layer for COVID -

Attention IFIS Users:
The Iowa Flood Center (IFC) has experienced communication difficulties with several sensors in our networks. A significant number of sites concurrently went offline. This is a suspected issue related to the IT infrastructure at the University of Iowa.
Although the affected IFC stream gauges are not currently transmitting data to the IFC database, they otherwise continue to operate normally, taking measurements and storing data until communication is restored.
We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the problems.
